I'm Dr. Jamila Atannaz, a world-renowned, board-certified plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon, qualified by the Moroccan Society of Plastic Surgeons. Education & Training
I have been practicing plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery since 2013. My training path began in university hospitals and continued in renowned private hospitals in France and in the United States. I completed advanced courses in aesthetic medicine in Lisbon, Portugal under the patronage of the American Aesthetic Association, specialised training in face and neck surgery in Nice, France, and in functional septorhinoplasty in Bordeaux, France and Istanbul, Turkey.
Leadership Roles
From 2015 to 2022, I served as a faculty member at the American Aesthetic Association, where I trained practitioners from across the globe. Today, I am proud to serve as Medical Director of the International Academy of Aesthetic Innovation (IAAI) and as Vice President of the IAGC International Aesthetic Gynecology Conferences worldwide, having led hundreds of courses and masterclasses for doctors seeking to refine and perfect their skills.
Innovations & Contributions
I am recognized for developing the concept of local anesthesia in aesthetic surgery, an advancement that combines greater safety with an almost immediate return to daily activities. I also trained in the TOPAL procedure (office tumescent power assisted laser liposuction) in the United States and became the first surgeon to perform this procedure in the Kingdom of Morocco.
In 2019, I described a new clinical classification of labia minora hypertrophy, now used worldwide to guide appropriate clinical management of this condition.
